Welcoming mistakes
The best "mentors" in my business and private life were the mistakes I made. Some of them were painful, some were costly, but all of them shared one major characteristic: they were great opportunities for learning.
I think i made a few small mistakes here and there... i dun blame otheres for it.... cos that's no pt and i dun blame the state of mind that i was in.... I mistake i have committed was a moment of impulse.... Juz a split sec of thinking... and there... but i think every1 outta learn from it and so do i.. I am learning from it... and how not to redo the same mistake again..... Its all part of learning experience.
Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.- Oscar Wilde
I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeeded.- Michael Jordan
The great thing about mistakes is that we almost always get another chance to do things right. The secret of making good on that chance, however, is to get to the bottom of why we made the mistake in the first place, answering the questions: Why did it happen? What misinterpretations did I fall into? What did I miss? Once we know why, we have to make up for our mistake. If we don't, it will catch up to us sooner or later, and before long we'll be singing that famous line, "Oops... I did it again!"
the bottom line is always learn from mistakes.... it's wat made us who we are today.... and all the experiences... it made us how we see things and view life as a whole... Cheers and enjoy ur day!
